Construction Progress Update: Exterior Brickwork Now Underway

With the grace of Allah (SWT) and the continued generosity of our community, we are pleased to share another important milestone in the construction of Jamia Masjid Greater Chicago. Following the completion of the main structural framework, work has now progressed to the exterior brickwork, bringing the vision of our future masjid closer to reality.

The building is no longer just a construction site—it is beginning to reflect the beauty and permanence of the house of Allah that our community has worked so hard to establish.

Every stage of construction is being completed with careful planning and attention to quality. The exterior brickwork is designed to provide long-lasting durability while creating a welcoming appearance that reflects the dignity and importance of a masjid.

As each wall rises, the vision of a beautiful Islamic center becomes clearer. What was once only a dream shared by our community is steadily becoming a place where thousands of Muslims will gather for worship, education, and community service.

As the exterior work continues, the next phases of construction will include:

Installation of windows and exterior doors

Roofing and weatherproofing

Interior electrical and plumbing systems

HVAC installation

Interior wall finishing and preparation for final decorative work

Each completed phase moves us one step closer to opening the doors of Jamia Masjid Greater Chicago for daily prayers and community programs.
